Pregnancy is time filled with so many emotions such as fear, excitement & unconditional love for this little person you haven't even met yet. It's a part of your journey that you will want to remember, and the baby will one day have as a part of their story as well. Personally, I LOVE these sessions. It's a time when a woman is truly connected to herself. She has gained baby weight, & is excited about it! A time when a woman accepts herself more than any other because with every pound, stretch mark & jeans she no longer fits in, she knows it only means that this precious baby is really in there & will soon be the center of her world. There is a beauty in this journey that I love to pull out in my photos. I take my time with these sessions & experiment with a little of everything. We can take some traditional portraits of course. You can choose to do this session alone, or allow others to hop in a few (like dad) or friends, other children. However you want to do this, I am down for it all. I like to combine traditional, candids and everything in between. I love maternity shoots so much that I also have a selection of maternity dresses that my clients are welcome to use or include in their shoot. Personally I like the open belly dresses. So I have several long, open belly dresses in white, black, royal blue & I also have some full coverage as well. So change as many outfits as you want! This is a session that you will truly get bang for your buck. I don't get too many of these so when I do, I tend to go a bit overboard LOL. Well, more than my normal overboard. Some mothers are concerned with stretch marks or feeling not as beautiful. I say "Those stripes are proof that you have created LIFE", and should be celebrated! BUTI know it's a sensitive time & do my best to show how beautiful they truly are. Besides, editing is a blessing for removing anything you don't want to remember, just in case LOL. Include anyone that will be a big part of baby's life. Even the family pet! Or just you & baby.We also offer maternity floral milk baths that can either be added or base it on that! Nothing is off limits. If you can dream it, we can bring it to life. So bring your belly on over and lets capture this beautiful memory. It's recommended to schedule between 4-7mos. or when belly has rounded or obviously pregnant. Waiting till last month is when we tend to bloat up :)
